Anna Bura of Vivere String Quartet speaks to New York Times on the importance of showing Ukranian culture continues vibrant and strong

August 27, 2023, New York Times. Anna Bura, violinist of Vivere String Quartet, toured as part of Ukranian Freedom Orchestra in summer of 2023 and 2024. In an interview with the New York Times, Anna speaks of the importance of shining light on Ukranian culture. “Russia says there’s no Ukrainian culture, or music, or language,” said Anna. “They want to erase Ukrainian culture. We want to show people we are here.”
