Lesley Robertson, founding violist of the St. Lawrence String Quartet, joined online editor Davina on The Strad podcast to reminisce about the life of first violinist Geoff Nuttall, who passed in October 2022. Lesley spoke about his incredible energy, his connection with audiences, plus the musical work that is the most fitting musical epitaph, featured in the group’s recent release of Haydn string quartets.
